CULINARY CAREER

I got into the culinary scene of Helsinki city by the hand of Restaurant School Perho. Although my intent continues to be expanding my expertise in the field of culinary arts, I developed a deep interest for business and event management that led me to enroll in university. Since summer 2018, I am studying my bachelor's degree in business at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, while I continue to perform as a chef at Restaurant Bronda.

As an energetic and enthusiastic professional, I constantly find myself thirsty for knowledge. Hence, I seek challenges to expand and develop further my competences. Through my engagement, I transmit my motivation in team organizations, making it a valuable asset.

My extended experience, education, good manners, sociability and internationality define me as a professional able to adapt to demanding situations.

WORKING EXPERIENCE

6.2016 - onwards

Chef de Partie.

Senior cook at brasserie Bronda, owned by notorious chefs Tomi Björck and Matti Wikberg. Chef de partie at grill, sauté, fryer, garnish, salad and pastry.

Independent entrepreneur.

Street food venture in Helsinki area. Project with high level recipes to respond to the culinary trends of the city. Vegan and classic burgers.

Trainee Cook.

Cold side, snack and pastry sections. Kitchen helper in other tasks when asked.

Chef de Partie.

Line cook. Cold cuts and dessert section of the restaurant's á la carte service.

I completed a part of Perho's study program, Restaurant Cook, at BW Restaurant Bronda.
During the time being, I performed in 3 out of 6 working stations of the restaurant: fryer, grill and pastry.

At restaurant Lämpö I performed as an extra in whatsoever task I was required.

Waiter, glass picker, dishwasher and cleaner.

Staff Plus is a staff rental company which supplies to restaurants with extra employees when needed. I adapted there to any required task or position.

Cleaner and maintenance

I was a cleaner for the company. In specific dates, I worked building up the addvertisement platforms at Helsinki Sonera and Olympic Stadium for international soccer games.

Member of the Sustainable Gastronomy RC14 Group and active practitioner.

Kitchen helper in the Finnish chef of the year competition 2015.
